Public International Law
We provide legal advisory services on public international law to governments, sovereign states, international organisations, diplomatic missions and corporate entities affected by inter-state relations. Our role is to bridge international norms and their domestic application, offering counsel on the formation, interpretation and application of international rules, treaties and customary law.
Our Core Practice Areas

Drafting, negotiation, implementation and interpretation of bilateral and multilateral treaties, including investment treaties, trade agreements, double taxation treaties, environmental and climate agreements and diplomatic cooperation agreements, with attention to the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties and alignment with domestic law.
State responsibility and international claims. Advice on breaches of international obligations, attribution of conduct and available remedies, and representation of states and private entities in matters of diplomatic protection, internationally wrongful acts, reparations, countermeasures and international claims.
International dispute resolution and arbitration. State-to-state disputes, investor-state disputes, treaty-based claims, international commercial and investment arbitration and the recognition and enforcement of international awards, from jurisdictional assessment through hearings and enforcement.
